Youth Programs (Ages 5-12)

RBI's Fall program for ages 5-12 in 2018 will be broken up into 5 divisions (reminder that all fall programs are based on age as of 4/30/2019):

  1. Majors - Played on the 50/70 diamond.  This is for 12U players and highly experienced 11U players
  2. AAA - Played on the 46/60 diamond.  This is for most 11U players and experienced 10U players
  3. AA - Played on the 46/60 diamond.  This is for most 10U players and experienced 9U players
  4. A - This is for 7U and 8U players
  5. Rookie - This is for players that will be 5 and 6 in the upcoming spring.

RBI's programs this year will be using our brand new state of the art HitTrax hitting training system for the AA, AAA, and Majors divisions.  To learn more about HitTrax visit them at https://www.hittraxbaseball.com/ and be prepared to be impressed!

Our newly designed fall program will consist of players training both on field and at RBI.  Games will also be played throughout the fall on many of the Saturdays (Fridays for Rookie), but any and all training in the fall will have the #1 priority of skill development at ALL divisions.  Weekly skills sessions will consist of a workout at RBI using their indoor training field space, batting cages, and our HitTrax training system.

Each Saturday (Friday for Rookies) the players will either be playing a game vs another team in the fall program, training on field, or training indoors at RBI using the HitTrax training system.  Indoor games can also be played using HitTrax.

These programs are all designed with the #1 goal of PLAYER DEVELOPMENT.  Games will be played, but in a developmental setting for players of all abilities.  The #1 focus of the fall at RBI is to develop.

Players in AA, AAA, and Majors will have the option to join in one of the following training programs each week in addition to their Saturday training:

  • Tuesday: 5:00-6:30pm weekly
  • Wednesday: 5:00-6:30 pm weekly
  • Thursdays: 5:00 - 6:30pm weekly

These three divisions will play and practice separately, but these programs will be on highly structured training programs during September, October, and November.

The A division and Rookie division will meet once a week on their training day.  Rookies will be Friday and A ball will be held on Saturdays.

If you are looking for the perfect way for your athlete to fine tune his skills outdoors during the best baseball weather of the year as well as utilizing our newly renovated 15,000 sq ft indoor facility, this is the program for you.

MAJOR/AAA/AA Dates and information:

Indoor training practices (midweek) will begin the week of September 4th and run all the way through November 15th.  Each participant will choose from one time slot per week on the following days:

  • Tuesday: 5:00-6:30pm weekly
  • Wednesday: 5:00-6:30pm weekly
  • Thursday: 5:00-6:30pm weekly

(Players will sign up for one of these days consistently throughout the fall, however if spots are open on a week you can not make your night, RBI MAY be able to switch your days for that week)

Major/AAA/AA games will be Saturdays at 9:00am weekly beginning Saturday, September 8th and running through Saturday, October 20th.  The game portion of this program will have no rain dates and will conclude October 20th.

A division Dates and information:

This year's A division (formerly 8U) program will begin on Saturday,  September 15th and will end on Saturday,  October 13th.  This program is designed for players that will be 7 or 8 on April 30th, 2019.

The A Division will both further enhance the skills of players with 1 or 2 years of experience playing baseball as well as establish tremendous fundamentals for players in their first year or baseball.

The A division will be coach pitch and will see players learning multiple positons as well as taking a more in depth look into those positions.  Our extremely energetic staff is always excited to work with these critical ages as they develop their skills.

If you are looking for a lightly competitive environment that your son/daughter can learn the game of baseball in, this is the program for you.  This program will be held outdoors but may also use our spacious indoor complex for training as well.

The A Division programs will be Saturdays at 12:30pm and run from September 15th through October 13th.

Rookie division Dates and information;

This year's Rookie program (formerly Head Start) will begin on Friday September 14th and will end on Friday October 12th.  This program is designed for players that will be 5 of 6 on April 30th, 2019.

The Rookie program will take place from 4:30pm - 6:00pm each Friday from 9/14-10/12.

The Head Start program will be a coach-pitch, fundamental look at baseball skills designed to both instruct players as well as grow the love of the game at younger ages.  Our very experienced coaching staff for this division will focus heavily on the core fundamentals of:

  • Fielding
  • Throwing
  • Hitting
  • Baserunning
  • Much, Much, More!

If you are looking for a non-competitive environment that your son/daughter can learn the game of baseball in, this is the program for you.  This program will be held outdoors but may also use our spacious indoor complex for training as well.
