Our seven week winter training programs are our signature training programs here at RBI for youth athletes. This seven week program will see athletes join our FULL Winter Training Programs that began in December, however athletes will spend ample time with our professional staff during the first week to introduce and acclimate the players to the program.
Athletes registering for this session will be able to join our sessions 2 times a week between 1/30 and 3/23. For a total of 14 SESSIONS!
We offer programs for 9U-12U that focus heavily on overall athleticism while in a baseball environment. In 2022/2023 we are also offering a 7 week pitching program for 11/12U athletes. Athletes will have the option to register for our pitching program in addition to the Hitting and Fielding program that is the staple of our development for this age. Players will have age appropriate assessments on their overall athleticism and skill level during week 1 of our programming so our staff can best provide each athlete the proper training program possible for the winter. The drills and skills taught during these programs are age specific, but are designed to both push the more advanced players as well as provide a great fundamental base for each participant.
Each of these sessions begins the week of 1/30/23 and runs right through 3/23/22. Players will choose two of the following days of the week to train consistently, this puts that day/time into their schedules and allows for consistent and quality training throughout the very important winter training months.

This program focuses on the finer points of pitching and preparing the athlete to pitch competitively for the start of the season. Players will progress each week from breaking down mechanics through drill work to ultimately throwing simulated innings to catchers. Small groups ensure that each player will receive plenty of individual attention while benefiting from visual learning of other players their age. Every week, players will go through a series of “throwing progressions” to improve on the basic fundamentals of proper throwing technique. In addition, players will go through a progressive long-toss program which allows the athlete to stretch the arm and gain strength prior to getting on the mound for drills.
*The 11U/12U age group will also cover pitching from the stretch and managing the run-game to prepare for any player pitching on the 50’ transition mound in the spring.
This pitching program runs every Monday and has one sessions to choose from, capacity in this program is extremely limited.
