COVID-19 Action Plan

Please check this page for consistent updates to our COVID-19 response, schedule, and action plan to keep you updated on what we are doing to keep everyone safe!

As of 6/12/20 all of our summer camps are on as scheduled with the exception of the Chris Sale Summer Camp.  We are working with local/state/federal boards of health to ensure we are 100% compliant with all regulations for our staff and campers.  We are looking forward to running our 16th year of safe, fun, developmental, and FULLY regulated camps!!  While other camps have avoided being Board of Health certified in the past, we have NEVER avoided being certified and you can trust that we will continue to go above and beyond all safety regulations in this concerning time!

What are we doing at RBI to provide a safe training environment?

  • RBI is constantly updating our procedures and policies to ensure we are always not only within Board of Health guidelines, but exceeding them.
  • Surfaces and commonly used objects will be wiped down regularly with EPA approved cleaning agents including doors, training tools, desks, computers, screens, etc
  • Staff schedules are created to prevent large gatherings in the facility at any one time.
  • Limited the number of total people in the facility using the guidelines and orders from the CDC as well as the state and local governments
  • Training staff on proper use of personal protective equipment as well as training staff on executing operations, both baseball-related and other, while maintaining social/physical distance
  • Providing multiple entrances to limit traffic through each entrance
  • Strategically locating hand sanitizing stations near every entrance that anyone entering and exiting the facility will have easy access to.
  • Removing all seating areas to avoid close contact.
  • Purchasing all of our coaches masks that they will wear during all training at RBI.
  • Required temperatures scans for all coaches prior to entering the training area to ensure they are fever free.
  • RBI also reserves the right to require temperature scans on any athletes entering the facility
  • We will not be open to the public and will only be open to scheduled participants in our programming.
  • Whenever possible we will prop all doors open to reduce the number of touches to those surfaces
