To the valued athletes and families of RBI Baseball Academy,
As of today (3/20/20) we will be postponing all programs and practices at RBI Baseball Academy through March 29th, 2020 due to the COVID-19 public health threat. Between now and then our staff will be closely monitoring the situation to assess what actions will be taken after 3/29 and we will be in communication with everyone again prior to Sunday 3/29. While we are confident in our procedures and policies regarding the health and cleanliness of our facility, we believe it is in the best interest of our athletes, their families, and our coaches to move in a direction of helping control the overall spread of the COVID-19 virus. Therefore we will not be open for any cage rentals or group events to prevent large group gathers as recommended by the CDC, but also to carefully monitor the traffic flow of the facility in the short term. We will however be hosting scheduled 1 on 1 lessons that are agreed upon by the instructor as well as the athlete and their family by appointment only.
If you are in a program between now and March 29th we will be in contact regarding the makeup dates for those programs. With the delay in the start of most youth/high school leagues and their seasons, we are hopeful and confident in our ability to help everyone prepare for their upcoming seasons at the right time. However, we are aware that there is much information that is still unknown, and we will be constantly monitoring the situation to help our timeframes on rescheduling.
It is also important to note that as of today we are not aware of anyone that has been at RBI that has tested positive for the coronavirus.
