Summer 2006 Baseball Clinic
Featuring Tufts University Baseball Staff!

Who: Boys and Girl ages 7-17
Where: Tufts University, Medford, MA
When: July 11-14, 2006, 9:00AM - 3:00PM
Cost: $249 (10% Discount for additional family members)

Clinic Will Include the Following
  • Four days of top level instruction covering all baseball fundamentals.
  • Daily baseball games and instructional drills.
  • Experienced, professional staff with low participant to instructor ratio.
  • Spacious outdoor complex with multiple fields. Indoor facilities available in event of inclement weather.
  • FREE RBI Baseball Academy T-Shirt for each participant.
  • Pro-Shop open daily.
  • Appearances by current and/or former Red Sox players.

 

Clinic Directors & Staff

Dan Morse, Director
Dan played both football and baseball at Tufts University from 1995-1999. He was voted All New England in both sports and was voted to the All-American Baseball team in 1998 while batting .484. Dan set eight career and single season records as a center fielder in baseball and three more as a quarterback in football. He played two seasons professionally for the Johnstown Johnnies (Frontier League), winning two Gold Glove awards as well as a league championship. Coach Morse also served as Director of the Nomar Garciaparra Camps and Clinics as well as Director of Baseball Operations at the Hit Dog Training Center. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Trot Nixon Summer Baseball Camp.

 

John Casey, Head Baseball Coach at Tufts University
 Coach Casey is 1980 graduate of Tufts and helped pitch the Jumbos to three consecutive ECAC Division II-III Tournament appearances. Also the tight end on 1979’s undefeated football team, he returned to Tufts a year later as a baseball and football assistant. A native of nearby Jamaica Plain, Casey is a member of the NCAA Division III Baseball Committee. Regionally, he is chair of the New England’s Division III Selection and All-Star committees, and is secretary-treasurer of the New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association. He has worked various baseball camps and was the Hitting Coordinator at the New England Baseball Camp. Casey was inducted into the prestigious Boston Park League Hall of Fame. In 2000, the NEIBA presented him with the Jack Butterfield Award, the most prestigious award given by the organization

Tuition Prices

Cost: $249
A deposit of $150 per person is required in order for each participant to be registered.

Note: For those that did not purchase Cancellation Insurance (see below), deposit is non-refundable unless written notification is received by June 12, 2006.

Cancellation Policy

The following Cancellation Policy applies to all participants unless the optional clinic cancellation insurance is purchased. For further information see below. All deposits are non-refundable unless written notification is received prior to June 12, 2006. Any cancellation after this date will result in loss of clinic deposit.

Clinic Cancellation Insurance

The RBI Baseball Clinics is pleased to offer the optional Clinic Cancellation Insurance which can be purchased for $25 per participant. This insurance allows participants complete reimbursement of all clinic fees (excluding insurance premium) paid to RBI for any reason prior to July 3, 2006.The following conditions apply:

  1. Cancellation Insurance must be purchased when registering participant. It CANNOT be added at a later date.
  2. All payment conditions must be met in order to receive reimbursement.
  3. The cost of the Cancellation Insurance itself will NOT be refunded.
  4. RBI must be notified of cancellation in writing or via facsimile by July 3, 2006. Receipt of this cancellation notice will result in loss of participant’s reservation.
  5. Once the clinic begins, refunds will NOT be issued. NO EXCEPTIONS!
