Ages 7-16

The Jason Varitek and Dustin Pedroia Summer Baseball Camp will take place from July 26th – July 31st at Stonehill College in North Easton, MA (directions to fields).

The commuter camp is conducted from 9:00am to 5:00pm each day for boys and girls ages 7-16.

The overnight camp is conducted for boys ages 9-16,with check-in on Sunday, July 26th. Tuition for overnight campers is $799.00, which includes all day and night activities, sleeping facilities, and three meals per day. Tuition for day campers is $549.00 which includes daily activities and lunch each day.

Overnight Camper
Sunday, July 26th
Check-in from 4:00pm to 6:00pm through Friday, July 31st at Noon.

Daily Schedule
7:30 am Breakfast
9:00 am Day campers arrive-roll call and “Theme of the Day”
9:15 am Instructional stations and games
12:00 pm Lunch/Rest/Recreation (game room open for films, basketball, wiffle ball, etc.)
2:00 pm Instructional stations and games
5:00 pm Day Campers dismissed
6:00 pm Dinner for overnight campers
7:00-8:30 pm Evening activities, extra practice, wiffle ball, soccer, basketball
9:00-10:30 pm Lights out (depending on age)

Camper Check-In Times
Overnight Camp:
Sunday, July 26th from 4:00-6:00 pm. On Sunday evening, there will be a campers and staff pizza party.

Day Camp:
Day campers will check in on Monday July 27th between 8:15 am and 9:00 am. Report time each day for day campers will be 9:00 am. Lunch is provided Monday-Thursday. Day camp hours are Monday-Thursday from9:00 am-5:00 pm and Friday from 9:00 am to noon. During closing ceremonies on Friday pictures, autographs, and campers packets will be handed out at12:00 pm. Staff will be available to parents at conclusion of ceremonies.

BASEBALL CAMP STAFF
 

Our professional caring staff is made up of former professional and college baseball players as well as college, and high school coaches. The staff is hand picked to ensure the highest quality of instruction. Each staff member at the Jason Varitek and Dustin Pedroia Summer Baseball Camp and RBI Baseball Academy is committed to providing each participant with a safe, enjoyable experience while learning the best baseball techniques. Our entire staff works hard to instill the values of teamwork, self-confidence, and sportsmanship to each and every camper.

 

 

CAMPER GROUPINGS
 

Campers are placed on teams according to Little League and Babe Ruth League ages.*  A low camper to instructor ratio ensures for individual attention.

Groupings are as follows: ages 7-8, ages 9-10, ages 11-12, age 13, ages 14-16

*We reserve the right to move campers up or down in age class based on ability. Our goal is to ensure that every camper has a safe, challenging, fun-filled experience.

After registering for camp, you will receive a confirmation packet containing a teammate request form. You may request that your son or daughter be on the same team with a friend or teammate (up to two campers) during the day portion of the camp. Requests are accepted via U.S. mail only. Requests will not be accepted via telephone or electronic mail. Please keep in mind that we will do our best to accommodate your request but can not guarantee these groupings. All camper groupings are final. There will be absolutely no team changes made during registration. The only changes that will be made during the week of camp are changes recommended by coaches and approved by a camp director based upon a player’s ability.

 

ROOMMATE POLICIES
 

In the camp confirmation packet you will also find a roommate request form. You may request that your son be in the same room with a friend or teammate (up to two roommates) during the overnight portion of the camp. Requests are accepted via U.S. mail only. Requests will not be accepted via telephone or electronic mail. Please keep in mind that we will do our best to accommodate your request but can not guarantee these rooming requests. All camper rooming assignments are final. Absolutely no rooming changes will be made during overnight registration, or during the week of camp.

 

REGISTRATION & CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
 

Complete the entire registration form and return with $300 deposit or full tuition amount to the RBI Baseball Academy, 97 Green Street, Suite #2, Foxboro, MA 02035.

Upon receipt of your registration and payment we will send you a detailed confirmation packet via U.S. mail. Included in your confirmation packet will be all the information and forms that must be completed and on file BEFORE the first day of camp. If you have not received a confirmation packet within ten (10) business days please call our office at 508-543-9595.

Insurance Requirements: All campers are required to provide proof of their own medical/accident insurance before attending camp. Any medical expenses incurred by a camper during the camp are the total responsibility of the camper’s parent or legal guardian. This includes deductibles.

Medical Exam & Health History: Campers are required to have a physical examination within one year of attending camp. It is also Massachusetts state law that a full camper health history including immunizations is on file with the camp medical staff before a camper is allowed to attend camp. Most primary care physicians have their own specific medical form that are completed upon time of office visit, however for your convenience, a medical form will be included in the confirmation packet.


 

CANCELLATION POLICY
 

The following Cancellation Policy applies to all campers unless the optional Camp Cancellation Insurance is purchased. For further information see below. All deposits are non-refundable unless written notification is given prior to 6/22/09. Any cancellations after this date for any reason will result in loss of camp deposit.

*CAMP CANCELLATION INSURANCE RBI Baseball Academy is proud to provide this optional Camp Cancellation Insurance which can be purchased for $50.00 per camper. This insurance allows campers complete reimbursement of all camp fees (excluding insurance premium) paid to the RBI Baseball Academy for any reason prior to July 21st, 2009 if they register for camp cancellation insurance.

The following conditions apply:

A. Cancellation must be purchased when registering camper. It CANNOT be added at a later date.
B. All payment conditions must be met in order to receive reimbursement.
C. The cost of the cancellation insurance itself will NOT be refunded.
D. RBI Baseball Academy must be notified of cancellation in writing or via facsimile by July 21, 2009 (no exceptions).
E. Upon receipt a camp cancellation notice will result in loss of the campers reservation.
F. Once the camp begins no refunds will be issued, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Tuition

Day Camp: $549.00
Overnight Camp: $799.00

Family Plan: First camper full price, additional family members 10% off. Family Plan constitutes two or more members from the same household.

This camp complies with all regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, and is licensed by the local board of health 430.161C, 430.090, 430.091
