Description

On Sunday, January 15th and Monday, January 16th, the RBI staff will be running its 3rd annual winter college prospect clinic.  Formerly known as the "New Year's Eve College Prospect Clinic", it has annually drawn over 80 players, 25+ college coaches, and even a handful of MLB Scouts.  While there are many programs out there that have players show up, take 8 swings and field 6 groundballs with little to no instruction and interaction with coaches, our program aims to put players and coaches in a learning environment.  Players will absolutely have the opportunity to display their individual talents to all coaches in attendance; however, we aim to accomplish more than that by having players work in small groups with rotating coaches to provide both the players and coaches the chance to interact and improve!

The program offers multiple grade levels something unique.  No matter what grade a player is in, their main goal is to improve everyday.  By surrounding themselves with other players looking to improve and a coaching staff that loves teaching the game at a high level, players will undoubtedly be provided a quality learning experience.  In regards to recruiting, each grade level will be there with different intentions.  This program provides each 2012 with a last chance to be evaluated by collegiate coaches before rounding out their recruiting classes.  It gives 2013's an avenue to work with and be evaluated by dozens of college coaches prior to their junior season, the most important in terms of recruiting.  Finally, each 2014 player will get their name on the recruiting map and will get a sense as to what tools they need to work most on to get to the level they desire.

Cancellation Policy

The following cancellation policy applies to all participants unless the optional event cancellation insurance is purchased, For further information, please see below.

All deposits are non-refundable unless notification is received 30 days prior to event’s start date, 12/15/11. Any cancellation requested after this date will result in loss of deposit.

Cancellation Insurance

RBI Baseball Academy is pleased to offer the optional Event Cancellation Insurance which can be purchased for $25 per participant. This insurance allows participants complete reimbursement of all event registration fees (excluding insurance premium) paid to RBI for any reason 5 days prior to event start date, 1/10/12.

The following conditions apply:

1.    Cancellation insurance MUST be purchased when registering participant. It CANNOT be added at a later date.

2.    All payment conditions must be met in order to receive reimbursement.

3.    The cost of cancellation insurance itself will NOT be refunded.

4.    RBI must be notified of cancellation in writing or via facsimile 5 days prior to event start date. Upon receipt, a event cancellation notice will result in loss of participant’s reservation.

5.  Refunds will NOT be issued once the event begins. NO EXCEPTIONS.
