Do I have to be a member to use the RBI Baseball
Academy?
You do not have to be a member to use our Academy. Customers are
welcome to use our
batting cages any time during our hours of
operation or to participate in any of our clinics,
camps or programs. Automatic
and self-feeding
batting cages are always available to the general
public on a walk-in basis.
What can I do at the RBI Baseball Academy?
Customers can hit in our automatic
batting cages. Tokens range
from $2 per token to $20 for 15 tokens. Each token equals 22
pitches. All cages are baseball and softball equipped with speed and
height control for customers of all ages and ability levels. RBI
also offers several different annual memberships. Members receive
private lessons and free cage reservations with each membership, as
well as discounts on our
tunnel rentals, clinics, programs, camps,
private lessons, and pro shop.
Do I need to reserve time in the batting cages?
The automatic
batting cages are always open to the general public
on a first come first service basis. Reservations are not required.
The self-feeding hitting tunnels and
bullpen tunnels are available
by reservation or on a walk-in fist come first serve basis. Members
receive discounts on all hitting and bullpen tunnels.
How much does it cost to use the RBI Baseball
Academy?
A batting token can be purchased for as little as $2 or you can
purchase one of our annual membership packages if you plan on using
the academy more consistently. We have a membership, clinic, or
lesson package to fit any budget.
Why should I become an RBI member?
Memberships are designed for players that are looking to take
advantage of our academy's professional instruction,
batting cages,
and clinics and programs on a frequent basis. Lower your lesson
rates, receive quarterly specials and giveaways, and save money
throughout the year. As a member the more you practice, the more
money you save.
What type of lessons do you offer?
RBI Baseball Academy offers baseball and softball lessons for
students of all abilities in the mechanics of hitting, pitching,
catching, fielding, and throwing. RBI offers private (1 student) or
group (3 or more students).
How long do your lessons last?
Individual lessons are 30 minutes long. Group/team lessons last a
full hour.
How old do you have to be to take lessons?
We recommend that you are at least seven years old before
registering for a private lesson.
How old do you have to be to become a member or
to register for a clinic?
Our memberships are recommended for children that are at least
five years old; RBI clinics and camps are available for player five
and up. Please see our clinics link for program descriptions and age
requirements.
Who teaches your Clinics and lessons?
Our professional caring staff is made up of current and former
professional baseball players as well as college and high school
baseball and softball coaches, hand picked to ensure the highest
quality of instruction. Each staff member at RBI is committed to
providing each participant with a safe, enjoyable experience while
learning the best in baseball and softball techniques.
How do I sign-up for a camp or a clinic?
Registering for a camp or clinic
couldn't be easier. You may register in person at our state of the
art facility, by calling RBI directly at 508-543-9595, through our
website by using our secure server, or by mailing in a registration
for you may have received in the mail.
Can I deduct the cost of
sending my child to summer camp?
Yes, as part of a dependent
care provision that lets you claim a credit against tax when you
pay someone to watch your child under age 13 so you can hold a
job. And camp counts as such care, says the IRS. The credit is
only for a portion of expenses and is limited by your income,
but even middle-and upper-income people can get as much as $600
for one child, $1,200 for two or more. Details are in IRS
publication 503.
What are your hours of operation?
Hours of operation are located on the bottom left of the green
navigation bar.
Do I have to be an all-star to participate in RBI
Baseball Academy’s clinics, camps or programs?
Players of all talent levels are encouraged to join our clinics,
camps, and programs. Regardless of your age or ability our
professional, caring staff guarantees a positive, learning
experience. A 6:1 student to instructor ratio during indoor programs
and 10:1 ratio during outdoor camps ensures for individual attention
and plenty or repetitions on the skills taught.
How can I be informed of the most current and up to date
events at RBI?
You may enter either your email address through our home
page, or you mail email us directly to be put on our postal
mailing list. Email blasts usually occur once a month. Mailings
occur quarterly. Also, our website is always being updated. We
encourage you to visit our website often to view our most
current and up to date Academy information.
You offer Member and Non-Member rates for lessons, camps,
clinics, and programs. How do I know if I am a member?
All RBI Members have purchased an annual membership. Please
refer to our Memberships page for a listing of all annual
memberships offered.
How do I sign my son or daughter up for a
lesson?
All lessons are by appointment
only and are offered every day of the week. Please call RBI
directly at 508-543-9595 to schedule your appointment.
Do you offer any travel or AAU baseball or
softball teams?
RBI does not conduct or sponsor any travel or AAU sanctioned
teams. However several travel and AAU teams train at our facility. If you are a player interested in participating on a competitive
travel team our staff will be more than happy to recommend a team
that would be the right fit for you.
Can my team reserve batting cages and
multi-purpose court time?
RBI offers team batting cage and
multi-purpose court
reservations. Netting and dividers surround our multipurpose area,
this makes RBI ideal for your teams training and practice needs.
Price varies on time of year and frequency reserved.
Can I have a birthday party at RBI Baseball
Academy?
Mass Premier Courts offers several baseball and softball themed
birthday parties. Please call Mass Premier Courts directly to inquire
