The camp does NOT provide transportation. For those campers arriving by airplane we are more than happy to provide parents with airport shuttle services that have been used in the past to make your travel arrangements as easy as possible.
What about supervision?
Campers are supervised during their entire time at the camp. Campers are assigned to a coach for their daily baseball activities and to an overnight counselor during the overnight portion of the camp. Each head coach is responsible for 10 campers, we have assistant coaches on staff as well so the coach to camper ratio is less than 10:1. We do not use a camp “buddy system” throughout the week of camp, campers are not allowed to go anywhere without their day coach or overnight counselor. Our staff stays in the same dormitories with participants. Adult supervision is a top priority at our camp.
What should campers bring?
Once you’ve registered for camp you will receive a camper confirmation packet in the mail in about 1 week. Included in this packet are: a list What to Bring; Camp Check-in Instructions; Health and Liability Forms; Medication Dispensing Forms; Roommate and Group Request Form; Camper Release Forms and directions to the camp. Any form that needs to be completed must be returned to us two weeks prior to the start of camp.

Parents/Guardians will be given various phone numbers to contact camp directors and nurses during camp. Also, the Stonehill College switchboard is available 24 hours a day, to leave messages for campers.
What is a typical week like?
A typical camp week consists of about 35 hours of baseball in 5 days. We take participants through a mini spring training. We work on the major fundamentals of baseball including, hitting for average and power, speed, arm strength, fielding, pitching and catching. Our goal is for all campers to improve themselves by the end of the camp. We work hard to help each participant make adjustments for improvement in his or her game.

Stonehill College’s vast campus is the perfect campus to operate our baseball camp. World-class facilities and spacious fields allow for games to be played daily. We may use the campus at Southeastern Regional High School approximately 2 miles from Stonehill for our campers ages 13 and up to allow for our players to play on regulation 90-foot diamond. Campers will be bused to and from Southeastern Regional by licensed bus drivers. The Ames Sports Complex and RBI Baseball Academy gives us plenty of room to operate our camp in case of inclement weather. The facilities are air-conditioned providing a comfortable atmosphere for lectures and other activities.
